Patient Referral Process
RSP Healthcare Consortium accepts direct client referral from Doctors, Nurses, Families, External Service Providers, Insurance Companies, Embassies, NHS, Local Authorities, and Health Service Brokers and from self-funding clients.
We also accept referrals from General Practitioners, Allied Health Therapies, MOD, Medical, Non-Medical Alternative Service Specialist and Travel Agents.
- Our Specialists are recognised by most of the UK Private Health Care companies and by the major International Health Insurance companies.
- It is the responsibility of the patient to obtain a pre-authorisation from the insurance company prior to attending your appointment.
- Once you have considered how you plan to pay for the service, complete your booking. If you are self-funding for your care, you can either look through the services available and choose and book which service you want online, speak to our staff in clinic or by phone.
- If your care is funded by your insurance company, you must submit payment agreement letter and your doctor’s letter prior to your first consultation.
- If your local health authority or council is paying for your care, you must submit their payment agreement letter and your doctor’s referral letter are required as above.
- If using RSP HC Vouchers for part of full payment, your voucher record will confirm value vouchers. Complete the payment as required following any number of ways listed.
- Corporate clients must submit executive health plan provider consent to treatment form.
- Occupational health (OH) workforce need to complete employee OH referrer form signed by themselves and their line manager or company director.
- All other clients are advised to contact our helpful staff to discuss other payment methods. If required, submit a contact and medical self-assessment form prior to speaking to staff.
- You will need to send your signed payment consent and referral forms prior to your appointment attached to your email sent to service@rsphealthcare.com You need to bring to your consultation originals of all documents such as: GP, NHS, LA or Hospital Referral Letter, Insurance Payment Consent Form, Health Records, Passport or Vaccination cards.
- Your booking will be confirmed once we have the documents authorising service.
If you are an NHS patient and are unable to obtain a timely consultation and treatment on the NHS, then your Primary Care Trust (PCT) may be willing to fund your Diagnosis and Treatment at RSP Healthcare Consortium, your General Practitioner will need to make representations on your behalf to the finance director or commissioning director of your PCT.
