After completing your enquiry, a link will be emailed to you so that you can access your reply. If you are having trouble submitting your enquiry it probably means you have not filled in the form fully or correctly. Look over the information you have entered and check that all the relevant boxes are ticked. Remember that questions with a red asterix (*) must be filled in. Make sure you have entered your details correctly and try again.
Once your enquiry has been fully researched and checked you are supplied with an email message containing a link to your completed response. This normally takes no longer than five working days. A second email will be sent to you if you do not access the response within five days of the first email notification. If you have not received a response to your enquiry after seven working days, there may be an error in the email address you supplied on the enquiry form. If you wish to resubmit your enquiry, please check that the email address you give is correct. The security of the enquiry service means we are unable to access the response on your behalf and send it to you via email.
Your personal reference number is made up of 4 letters, followed by 8 numbers, with no spaces. Check that your reference number is in this format if it keeps being rejected. Check that you have entered the correct letters and numbers; sometimes 1 and I look similar. Have you submitted more than one enquiry? Every time you send an enquiry you are given a unique reference number, which only works for that particular enquiry. You will not be able to view your reply if you use the wrong reference number to access it. You get 10 attempts to login successfully; every time you login incorrectly a page will be displayed telling you that you have used up one of your attempts. You will not be able to try to access your reply more than ten times. After this, the reply will be locked and you will need to re-submit your enquiry.
